Online Health Business Helps Stay at Home Mum Holiday in the Caribbean

Janice, a stay at home Mum had been eyeing up a holiday spot in the Caribbean for months and months. The spot had everything her family would ever want in a special holiday as it was a Flintstones Themed Hotel with swimming pools and a golf course across the road. But she did not know how her two children aged 7 and 10 and husband were going to afford this. Then one day it hit her…. and she has never looked back.

Her 10 year old daughter needed help with homework on healthy eating. The pair of them were looking online for inspiration. After searching for a while they finally came up with suitable information for this homework. Once the daughter was in bed Janice decided to do some further research on “health” and found that there was a huge range of topics that people were searching for answers on. For example, how to loose weight, acne products for teenagers, advice and products for a huge range of illnesses and symptoms  all of a sudden it appeared; an online health business. She could not believe her eyes. She was thinking a health business could be a good idea to help those in  to be online as well. You can reach people all over the world instead of just locally.

Today, many people are buying and selling goods and services online. People choose this concept because the goods and services reach people all around the world, are generally cheaper and you can buy and sell whenever you want – even in your pajamas if you like!!

Janice read and re-read this business idea, thinking about it for days. Then she decided to buy it and try it. She has made a steady income and her whole family have reaped the rewards with a two week holiday at the Hotel Meli?? Caribe Tropical All Inclusive Beach and Golf Resort situated in Punta Cana.

Janice and her kids love the Flintstones and her husband loves golf. He persuaded one of his golfing buddies to join them. So the pair of them can play golf as much as they wish and the two Mums and all the children can enjoy the facilities of the resort.

If you think you could do with a holiday of your choice, then maybe an online health business would be just the vehicle to make this happen.…

2 Crucial Things You Must Do On The First Day Of Starting A Weight Loss Plan (Or Be DOOMED To Fail!)

Are you planning on starting a weight loss plan some time soon? Are you afraid of starting it due to past failures? If this is the case, then read on to see what it is you MUST do on your very first day of your journey… or else!!

You see, getting started on a new journey to lose weight can be pretty exciting and it can be pretty frightening at the same time. Those that tend to lean more towards the “exciting” aspect of getting started on their journey more than likely have adopted the 2 most critical things you MUST do on the first day of your plan.

So, if you want to be successful and have continuing motivation throughout your journey to reach your weight loss goals, whatever they may be, then I strongly recommend you do the following on the very first day…

First, Make The First Day…

The best day! What I mean by that is you must put forth maximum effort to make your first day of your journey the most successful in terms of you doing everything there is that is healthy…

This means waking up at a time that would have given you a full nights rest (7-8 hours), making sure you eat a healthy breakfast, thoroughly following whatever diet plan you downloaded, drinking plenty of water throughout the day (I recommend 1/2 your body weight in ounces), doing a good workout, and then going to bed at a reasonable time.

When you make the first day the most successful day, this sets the stage for ongoing motivation to stay consistent with reaching your goals!

On the other hand, if the first day of your plan is not successful because you skipped your workout, you skipped breakfast, you gave in to some temptation, you didn’t follow the diet plan’s recommendations, etc., then that will unfortunately set the stage for you LOSING motivation… and then ultimately giving up on your goals!

Second, Adopt The Long Haul Mindset…

I am a firm believer that dieting should never be done just to reach a specific goal (i.e. losing 25 pounds by the summer). I believe that dieting should be done to reach your goals… AND… to recondition your mindset on how you approach caring for your body… for life.

On the first day of your plan, put it in your mind right upfront that you are not just going to achieve your goals, you are going to stick to living a healthier lifestyle… for life. By doing this, you will find it much more easier to stay consistent with healthy living and your diet plan.

On the flip side, if you approach dieting with JUST focusing on reaching your goals, you’ll tend to either have a lackluster approach to healthy living or you’ll approach dieting with a “shotgun approach” (get quick results and quit). Both mindsets will leave you in the negative.

Approaching healthy living with a lackluster approach can make you cut corners, …

What Exercise Does to Keep Your Body Healthy

A cheap way to increase your life span and get better help is aerobic exercise. It does not have to cos you thousands of dollars or many hours of your time to keep fit. A half an hour of aerobic exercise about three to four times a week might be enough to stay in shape. Below are some ways regular exercise makes your health better.

It exercises your heart! Your heart is like any other muscle in that it becomes stronger and larger thanks to exercise. It gains better ability to pump blood through the body with every beat and has less strain keeping up with its higher levels.

It assists you in losing weight. Your cholesterol levels go down. Overweight people who have trouble losing weight can still get many heart benefits thanks to exercise. Just few hours of training each week can give you huge benefits.

Regular aerobic exercise will also lower your risk for type 2 diabetes since it lowers blood sugar, improves your sensitivity for insulin and makes your heart much stronger.

It strengthens your muscles and tones your entire body. The exercise not only helps your heart, it reduces blood pressure and increases your ability to store molecules of energy like fats and carbohydrates within the muscles. This makes your body more enduring. It also dilates the blood vessels in the fibers of your muscles which makes the blood flow better.

Since your lungs are also muscles, they receive big benefits from this. Also, regular exercise increases the amount of red blood cells in your body. Red blood cells transport oxygen, so people who exercise often have low risk for heart disease.

So be sure to follow a training program that is fun and beneficial for you – and remember that a little goes a long way!…

Age and Weight Loss – Lose Weight At Any Age

Losing weight is difficult at any age, but it becomes increasingly harder as you get older. Thus, the younger you start to lose weight, the easier it is. When you’re younger, your metabolism is naturally faster, so easier to lose weight.

A sedentary lifestyle plays an important role in quick weight loss. Sitting in the same place and position for essentially eight hours a day five days a week does nothing to advance your weight loss. Especially, if then you go home and sit or lay on the couch for a few more hours before you go to bed. You need to make the most of your day to minimize weight gain.

Thus, if you are stuck behind your desk pushing papers for hours on end at work, then make sure to stretch and go for walks around the office or up and down the stairs on your breaks and lunch hour. It seems simple, because it is, but it can help get your blood flowing and break you out of a sedentary routine. Also, exercising before or after work is a must if you are looking for long-term weight loss and physical fitness, as well as strengthening your body to fight off chronic diseases.

Exercise also strengthens your metabolism which naturally slows down with age. Regular weight training boosts the body’s metabolism over a long period of time and burns excess calories. One pound of weight is the equivalent of 3,500 calories, thus to effectively burn one pound you will need to perform a difficult balancing act. On the one hand, eat enough to satisfy your hunger and nutritional needs, while on the other hand, doing enough physical activity to burn fat.

This is why it’s crucial to eat healthy. Consuming healthy, clean food is a must. Especially if you’re trying to lose weight on a budget, wasting you’re hard-earned money on junk food is doubly wasteful. At least if you can eat mostly nutritious food, you will end up cutting soda, lattes and junk food from your diet, you will be saving several dollars a day, which can add up quickly.

Doing an increased amount of physical activity will rev your metabolism and burn calories, so you can see the results you are looking for. So, start moving, keep active, and lose weight today!…

Healthy Fats and You

I remember years ago my mother used to give me cod liver oil to fight winter colds and flus. I also recall that at winter’s end, if I remained cold-free, she would victoriously exclaim that sickness could be battled with this simple little nutrient. How did mothers know the things they did? I don’t know. What amazes me is that science is finally extolling the virtues of simple plant-based food and nutrients that our ancestors knew about years and years ago.

This article will present up to date information on the benefits of healthy fats in the diets.

Omega-3s

Today most of us know that omega 3s are important in the diet as we need them to absorb fat soluble nutrients and to keep the skin and joints lubricated, just to name a few things. According to the Journal of the American Heart Association, scientists have now discovered that a lack of omega-3s has been linked to: increased inflammation, depression and violence, weight gain – yes, they help to curb the appetite! Diabetes can be kept at bay, allergies and eczema and finally memory problems can be avoided just by making a few adjustments in the diet and including this nutrient. Omega-6s are also important and should be kept in a ratio of between one-to-one to five-to-one. The harm comes when there is no healthy balance.

Remember though, that the healthy fats don’t come from processed foods. Many of processed fats are chemically unstable and are prone to oxidation, which produces the bad guys, free radicals. These processed fats include the hydrogenated ones which have been heated and chemically altered to preserve their shelf life. These are responsible for many chronic diseases and premature aging of our body’s cells. Also important is to avoid all genetically modified fat sources such as corn oil, canola, soybean oil and margarine. so, what can we eat?

Healthy Sources of Healthy Fats

We need plant and animal derived fats for optimal health. Examples of plant and vegetable sources are extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil and organic butter. Also high in omega-3s are raw seeds and nuts: sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and almonds.

Good animal based sources are grass-fed beef, free range chicken and eggs and fresh sea food from the ocean and not farmed. These fish are fed unnatural diets which affects the nutrients in the foods produced from them.

Also, be sure to avoid any GMO (genetically modified organisms). Check the labels carefully to find those that have been genetically engineered.…
