2 Crucial Things You Must Do On The First Day Of Starting A Weight Loss Plan (Or Be DOOMED To Fail!)

When you make the first day the most successful day, this sets the stage for ongoing motivation to stay consistent with reaching your goals!

On the other hand, if the first day of your plan is not successful because you skipped your workout, you skipped breakfast, you gave in to some temptation, you didn’t follow the diet plan’s recommendations, etc., then that will unfortunately set the stage for you LOSING motivation… and then ultimately giving up on your goals!

Second, Adopt The Long Haul Mindset…

I am a firm believer that dieting should never be done just to reach a specific goal (i.e. losing 25 pounds by the summer). I believe that dieting should be done to reach your goals… AND… to recondition your mindset on how you approach caring for your body… for life.

On the first day of your plan, put it in your mind right upfront that you are not just going to achieve your goals, you are going to stick to living a healthier lifestyle… for life. By doing this, you will find it much more easier to stay consistent with healthy living and your diet plan.

On the flip side, if you approach dieting with JUST focusing on reaching your goals, you’ll tend to either have a lackluster approach to healthy living or you’ll approach dieting with a “shotgun approach” (get quick results and quit). Both mindsets will leave you in the negative.
